The concept of SafeDomes™ originated from the desire to create safe havens in an unpredictable world.
Recognizing the vulnerabilities that families face during natural disasters, David Pressler (Founder of SafeDomes™ & DRD Enterprises, Inc. of Davie) embarked on a mission to develop robust, reliable storm shelter design solutions.
SafeDomes™ got its start in 1994 with a focus on designing custom steel Quonset huts, and quickly expanded its offerings to include our proprietary and portable (tornado-proof) Garden Bunker Shed™, unique storm-resistant structures and storm shelter designs, and drawing on advanced materials and engineering techniques to ensure effectiveness and safety.
